I’m Akili Dees— dual-certified birth and postpartum doula serving families in the West Valley, Arizona. My calling is rooted in faith, community, and the belief that every mother deserves compassionate, personalized support during one of life’s most sacred seasons.

I started this journey of becoming a doula after having my first son and falling in love with pregnancy and birth. I had such an amazing experience that I wanted every woman to experience the same. I spoke to a few mothers who had recently given birth and the majority had traumatic births. So I set out on a path to learn how to advocate and support mothers in and out of the delivery room.

So whether you’re pregnant, navigating labor, healing postpartum, or simply trying to find your footing as a new mom, I’ve got your back.

I have a heart for serving women of color, christian families, and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, ensuring every mother feels seen, heard, and supported in the way she deserves.
